SCRIPTURE
“For the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.” Romans 14:17 (NKJV)
MESSAGE
God is in heaven and His sovereignty reigns over the heavens and all the earth. God’s kingdom is eternal. The Bible is about the establishment of the heavenly kingdom and its rulership in the earth that is, heaven’s system for earthly influence. The Lord Jesus throughout His earthly ministry, taught in parables about the kingdom of heaven. The parable of the talents illustrates how He came from His heavenly kingdom to take back the earthly kingdom that Satan stole from the first Adam and to give it to the church (His body) to be steward over.
The kingdom of heaven is spiritual and has its system of operation. Believers are the royal family (king-priest) of God in the kingdom and angels serve us. We function on earth with a mandate to colonize the earth from the heavenly realm bringing men into the kingdom. We are to disciple them teaching them to live by the doctrines and principles, within the boundaries of the Word of God and through the ministry of the Holy Spirit, functioning in the name of the Lord Jesus. So that the will of God is done on earth as it is in heaven.
PRAYER / CONFESSION
Dear Father, I thank you for transporting me into your kingdom through Christ Jesus. I have and experience in the kingdom; righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit. I embrace my role as a royal priest-king and Your ambassador on earth, living by the principles of Your kingdom. I declare that my life reflects Your nature and brings Your influence to my world. Your Spirit empowers me to walk in kingdom authority, revealing Your glory wherever I go in the name of the Lord Jesus. Amen.
