APRIL 16 – THE LORD JESUS ASCENDED INTO HEAVEN

SCRIPTURE

But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building;  Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us.” Hebrews 9:11-12 (NIV).

MESSAGE

He entered once into the holy of holies, and obtained eternal redemption for us. He had to pour His blood on the altar once and for all. Jesus said to her, “Mary.” She turned toward him and cried out in Aramaic, “Rabboni!” (which means “Teacher”). Jesus said, “Do not hold on to me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father. Go instead to my brothers and tell them, ‘I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.’” Mary Magdalene went to the disciples with the news: “I have seen the Lord!” And she told them that he had said these things to her” John 20:16-18 (NIV). When Jesus died, you died with Him; when He was buried, you were buried with Him; when He resurrected, you also arose with Him as a new man, a new species (Romans 6:4, Colossians 2:12-15). (KJV). You are now seated together with the Lord Jesus, as associates of the Godkind at the right hand of the Father, a place of power and dominion.

PRAYER / CONFESSION

Dear Father I thank You for the glorious resurrection of Christ that ushered in Christianity and brought us eternal life. I thank You for giving me eternal life in the name of the Lord Jesus.

WISDOM NUGGET

Now it was not written for his sake alone, that it was imputed to him; 24 But for us also, to whom it shall be imputed, if we believe on him that raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead; 25 Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification.” Romans 4:23-25
