MARCH 3 – WALKING ON THE HIGHWAY OF LIGHT

“Truth’s shining light guides me in my choices and decisions; the revelation of your word makes my pathway clear”

Psalm 119:105 (TPT).

Our day to day activities present us with choices, and it’s the choice between good and evil, which determines progress or failure. Choice is an act of selecting or making a decision when faced with two or more possibilities. God, our Father said, “I call heaven and earth as witnesses against you today, that I have set before you life and death, the blessing and the curse; therefore, you shall choose life so that you may live, you and your descendants” Deuteronomy 30:19 (AMP). This verse deals with making a decision; a decision is a conclusion or resolution reached after consideration. So, decisions are concretization of the choices we make.

We are admonished by God to only choose life in everything. The Word of God is life, which means our choices must be based on the Word of God, and Christ is the Word of God.

Proverbs 4:18 explains, “But the lovers of God walk on the highway of light, and their way shines brighter and brighter until they bring forth the perfect day” (TPT). The only way to bring forth a perfect day is to walk on the highway of light, which is living by the Word. The perfect day is when you are walking in God’s preordained path of upward and forward progress.  Christ is the Way and the Life; He is the Word, enabling you to see clearly, and walk in His pre-ordained path for your life. May your choices and decisions cause you to advance and bring God glory in Jesus’ name.

PRAYER

Dear Father, I choose life and my descendants and I shall live. I thank you that my thoughts, opinions, choices, and decisions are in sync with your Word. I walk in your highway of light bringing forth a perfect day every day of my life in the name of the Lord Jesus.
